After traversing the seas, C, my best friend (E), and I all washed up on an uncharted island on the maps. The island was dank and dark and dusty, reminiscent of the Upside Down in scenery. We discussed what we would do about the situation. We decided that C and E would remain on shore as lookouts as I wandered the island in search of shelter and discovery.
As I explored, I came across an unassuming building that was boarded up with planks of rotten wood. “Potential shelter?” I proclaimed.
I relieved the entrance of its wooden planks and entered. Inside I found the same dank and drab scenery of the island combined with the look of the backrooms. Paintings lay scattered on the floor, propped against the wall, and sitting on easels, mostly covered in sheets and canvas.
In the middle was a long-lost friend (R) who had gone missing 10-15 years prior. “R! We’ve been searching for you! I finally found you,” I exclaimed. After our brief reunion, she went into the history of the island.
There are 3 islands, unknown to the rest of the world, owned by 3 mythical beings. The island to our left is luxurious and filled with riches. The owner is Bigweld from the Robots cinematic universe. The island we currently stand upon is owned by Coraline’s upstairs neighbor, Mr. Bobinsky. And, finally, the island to our right has gone dormant due to an ancient feud with Mr. Bobinsky, resulting in his untimely demise. The owner was Evil Buc-ee Beaver. His resting place is on Mr. Bobinsky’s island.
“We must escape and get you back home,” I state, grabbing R’s hand and pulling her to the shore. R pulled back and explained that everything in the normal world has moved on without her and she no longer wishes to leave the island.
Then we saw it, a batman-esque Buc-ee’s signal appeared in the sky. We had awoken Evil Buc-ee Beaver (now zombified) with our arrival and flee attempt. We didn’t know if we would ever leave the island.
